Fantasy Bout#1 Kurt Angle v Bret Hart

What would be the out come if two of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time would have met in the squared circle? There can be little doubt in anyones mind that we would have been witness to an absolute classic.

The two men have participated in some of the greatest bouts of the modern era of wrestling and would have brought out the best in one another. I believe the match would have started slowly with both men trying to figure one another out but Kurt would eventually get the upperhand in the early going working on Bret's leg with a number of submission moves. Bret would however come close to a quick victory with Kurt almost caught out with an inside cradle, despite this Kurt would continue to dominate and almost claim victory himself with a viscous german suplex and massive belly to belly suplex.

Bret would however start to turn the contest around and get near falls from a bulldog, a piledriver and a superplex but when attempting a russian leg sweep Kurt would counter and turn it into the dreaded Anglelock . Bret would summon up almost all he had left to make it the ropes. Kurt however would then stalk "The Hitman" waiting to nail the Angle slam, Bret managed to escape over Angle's shoulder and in the blink of an eye he would have Kurt locked in the sharpshooter.

Bret Hart would retain control with a nasty looking backbreaker but having taken an age to mount the turnbuckle Kurt would spring to his feet and nail "The Hitman" with an Angle slam off of the turnbuckle but Kurt would be too exhausted to capitalize but he would be the first to recover.

As Hart lay seemingly out of it Kurt would let his guard down and as he went to pick Bret from the canvas "The Hitman" would once again catch Kurt Angle in a inside cradle but this time there would be no escape and Bret "The Hitman" Hart would leave victorious.

Of course this is my opinion feel free to leave your opinion on what you think would have happened or what stipulations you would have liked to see the two men battle it out under.
